| The make-up of the test battery is determined by individual needs and is designed to assess specific symptoms and their causes for each client including: 4Pure tone audiometry, tympanometry, and auditory brainstem response (ABR) to establish hearing levels and to assist in diagnosis of auditory neural pathway abnormalities. 4Hearing Aid Prescription: for all ages, includes the selection, fitting, evaluation, and adjustment of all modern hearing aids. An in-depth orientation for the patient and his or her family is conducted to ensure the proper care and use of the device, along with communication strategies to gain the utmost benefit within the individual’s unique listening environment 4Tinnitus evaluation and counseling. 4Central Auditory Processing Disorders (CAPDs) Evaluations as well as rehabilitation courses: for children 3 years of age and older who exhibit communication and/or learning difficulties despite their having normal hearing and normal IQ. Assessment and rehabilitation programs are available in both Arabic and English languages. 4Newborn Hearing Screening and Intervention: for high risk neonates (especially NICU graduates). 4Electronystagmography (ENG) to help assess vertigo and balance disorders (whether peripheral or central, compensated or uncompensated etc,…). |
